Urban Art Fest 52 Brings Big Daddy Kane, Chubb Rock and More to West Philadelphia

The free annual festival will bring live music, visual art, graffiti, food and local vendors to 52nd Street on August 22

West Philadelphia is getting ready for a day of music, art and community as Urban Art Fest 52 returns for its third annual celebration on Saturday, August 22.

 

Hosted by Urban Art Gallery, the free festival will transform 52nd Street into an open-air arts experience featuring live performances, visual artists, graffiti demonstrations, food vendors and more.

 

This year’s lineup is led by hip-hop legends Big Daddy Kane and Chubb Rock, bringing two influential voices from hip-hop’s history to West Philadelphia.

 

Beyond the music, Urban Art Fest 52 will showcase the work of more than 50 visual artists. Live graffiti demonstrations will also give visitors a look at the artistic process. Local food and art vendors will add to the experience.

 

The festival is free and open to the public, making it a family-friendly way to spend a Saturday afternoon in West Philadelphia.
