Philly Mom Takes Family Support on the Road: Linked Family Services to Unveil Mobile Resource Van October 22

West Philadelphia celebration will feature ribbon cutting, mobile van unveiling and free food and essential supplies for families

October 1, 2026

PHILADELPHIA, PA — What happens when families can't get to the help they need? Vonee Hill is bringing the help to them.

On Thursday, October 22, Hill and Linked Family Services will unveil a new mobile resource van designed to deliver essential baby supplies and family support directly into Philadelphia neighborhoods.

The unveiling will take place during a ribbon-cutting and community Open House at The Link in West Philadelphia, featuring free food, essential supplies and resources for families.

For Hill, a mother and advocate, the mission is personal.

“I started this work wanting something better for my own children, and I realized their future is connected to every child in our community,” Hill said. “If families can't always get to the help, we have to bring the help to them.”

Through the Tiny Essentials Relief Hub Mobile Care Delivery Service, eligible families can receive diapers, wipes, formula when available, hygiene products and other baby essentials through monthly home delivery. The program also supports participating childcare centers and provides ongoing care coordination.

The October 22 event coincides with Children's Health Month and will bring together families, community leaders, partners and supporters around one goal: helping children and families thrive before challenges become crises.
