Cocktails & Moore Is Bringing a New Kind of Mixology Experience to Philly

From infused spirits to 0-proof cocktails and whiskey classics, Cree Moore’s summer series invites Philadelphians to shake, sip and connect

Summer in Philadelphia is all about finding new ways to gather, explore and enjoy the city. This season, Cocktails & Moore is giving locals another reason to pull up a seat at the bar.

 

Created by Philadelphia multihyphenate creative Cree Moore, Cocktails & Moore is a summer mixology series designed to make cocktail and mocktail-making feel approachable, creative and fun. Blending storytelling with mixology, Moore takes guests beyond simply learning how to make a drink. Each experience is designed around flavor, conversation, connection and the art of creating something unexpected.

 

The summer series features three themed sessions, each offering a different look at the world of mixology.

• INFUSED | July 10 — Explore the art of infusion and learn how different ingredients can transform a drink.
• Free Spirited | August 8 — Discover the world of 0-proof mocktails and learn how to create flavorful drinks without alcohol.
• Strictly Whiskey | September 11 — The series finale celebrates the versatility and variety of whiskey cocktails.

Each class takes place at The Grindhouse, a Philadelphia venue known for its floor-to-ceiling windows, skyline views and outdoor seating.

 

During each session, guests are introduced to four recipes and their ingredients before getting the chance to make the drinks themselves. Moore walks participants through the process step by step, creating a hands-on experience where guests can learn the basics while experimenting with new flavors.

 

And there is no rush to get to the next drink.

 

Dedicated time between cocktails gives guests an opportunity to sit back, sip, talk and connect. It is part mixology class and part social experience, creating an atmosphere where conversation is just as important as what is in the glass.

 

Whether you already have a favorite cocktail or usually reach for a mocktail, the series offers something to explore. Guests leave with new recipes, techniques and inspiration they can take beyond the class and into their own kitchens.
