Historic Germantown Avenue will come alive September 27 with local art, handmade finds and live music

The Chestnut Hill Fall for the Arts Festival returns on Sunday, September 27, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM along historic Germantown Avenue. The festival will bring artists, crafters, musicians and visitors together for one of the neighborhood’s signature fall events.
Stretching from Rex Avenue to Willow Grove Avenue, Germantown Avenue will become a destination for art lovers and families looking to spend a Sunday exploring one of Philadelphia’s most charming neighborhoods.
Visitors can browse the work of local artists and crafters while discovering handcrafted jewelry, pottery, paintings and sculptures and enjoying live music and demonstrations.
Beyond the art, the festival is also a chance to experience Chestnut Hill during one of the most beautiful times of the year. Visitors can stroll Germantown Avenue, explore local shops and restaurants and enjoy a fall day surrounded by the neighborhood’s historic architecture.
The Fall for the Arts Festival is scheduled for Sunday, September 27, with a rain date of Sunday, October 11.
